1. About Guzhi

Guzhi ("we", "the service") is a social matching product in testing that helps users find people they can hold a real conversation with, based on inner structure rather than photos. Using the service means you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use it

• You must be 18 or older.
• You must provide truthful, accurate information. False identity or impersonation can result in permanent termination.
• Initial focus is users in Singapore.

3. Your content

Text, preferences, and feedback you submit remain yours. To provide matching, rehearsal, and notification, you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free licence to process and store this content, and to use it in anonymised form for algorithm improvement.

You may request deletion at any time via hello@guzhi.app. We erase personal data within 30 days (subject to legal retention obligations).

4. What you must not do

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or sexually harass any user;
• Impersonate or falsify identity;
• Post illegal, hateful, violent, or discriminatory content;
• Forward or reuse another user's information (handle, summaries) outside the purpose of this specific introduction;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack our APIs;
• Use for commercial promotion, recruitment, MLM, or religious solicitation.

Violation may result in immediate account termination and preservation of evidence.

5. Matches are algorithmic suggestions, not endorsements

Our matching runs on the information you and others voluntarily provide, plus a human boundary check. We do not — and cannot — verify the other party's real identity, intentions, or background. Whether to meet, how to meet, and what happens after remains your responsibility.

Before any meeting, please make basic safety judgements (public place, tell a friend, keep records).

6. Reports and blocks

If you experience discomfort, harassment, or danger during matching or meeting, report immediately via the in-app report entry or hello@guzhi.app. We commit to respond within 72 hours. Severe cases may result in termination of the other party's account and cooperation with law enforcement.

7. Paid features (future)

All features are free today. If paid features (event tickets, priority matching) launch, prices and refund terms will be disclosed before charging.

8. Changes and termination

We may add, change, pause, or terminate any part of the service at any time, generally with notice. You may stop using it and request deletion at any time.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

• Loss, harm, or disputes arising from user-to-user communication or offline meetings;
• Failure of the algorithm to find a suitable match;
• Third-party outages or breaches (Supabase, Anthropic, Vercel etc. — we will select reliable providers and respond to incidents);
• Force majeure.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Singapore law. Disputes are to be resolved amicably first; failing which, before the competent courts of Singapore.
